Adam James

“The Gypsy King” Adam James is regarded as a UKBYW legend, a reputation built during his time with BBWF and NAW and cemented as a constant presence at UKBYW interfeds.

His time in RWL may have been brief, but he certainly made his presence felt. Alongside his partner in crime, Uncle Billy, James caused chaos when the pair stole the RWL Championship from reigning champion Cyanide Starr, even attempting to sell the stolen title during the show’s interval.

Unsurprisingly, Starr wasn’t about to let that slide. The theft led James into the biggest and only match of his RWL career, challenging Starr for the RWL Championship in the main event of RWL: We Walk Alone.

One match was all it took. Whatever the promotion, the Gypsy King always leaves a mark.
