Alex Boylin

“The Metal God” Alex Boylin treated RWL like the best gig in town. Loud, larger than life and forever chasing a good time, the Oldham rocker turned every appearance into a party, with Andrew W.K.’s We Want Fun as the soundtrack.

For a time he found a kindred spirit in Dancin’ Lee Garvin, an odd couple of metal and dance moves that somehow made sense. Whatever they might have become, the RWL hiatus put a stop to it before the partnership could really take off.

Some tag teams never get their encore. This one deserved a few more songs.
